LEARNING CONTINUES FOR WYMONDLEY ROAD SCHOOL STUDENTS
Kia ora tātou e te whānau,
Thank you to all of our Wymondley Road School whānau who have shown considerable leadership given the escalation of Covid19 to alert level 3 in the last 24 hours. Yesterday afternoon we sent notices home to advise that from Tuesday 24 March, Wymondley Road School will be closed to our students.
Early learning services, schools, kura and tertiary education providers will close from midnight Wednesday 25 March for four weeks. School holidays will start early, from 30 March to 14 April inclusive.
Distance education will be provided where possible.
Today, our teachers and staff have been extremely industrious as we created, prepared and packed hardcopy resources to support our Wymondley Road School students learning both, online and at home. Wednesday 25 March 2020 the students learning packs will be available for collection from the school. To ensure that we follow the protocol of Alert level 3 please ensure to adhere to the following instructions and timetable for pick up.
- Park on the road outside the school main gates
- Walk up towards the main office
- Enter the school gate near the library
- Collect students pack from the teacher who will be in the designated grass area
- Exit gate near the school office to return directly to your car.
