At Wymondley Road School, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom walls. Our Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) program offers students a diverse range of experiences to enrich their education and personal growth.
From our exhilarating senior school camp to the challenges and camaraderie of Project Wy, students have opportunities to step outside their comfort zones and develop essential life skills. Cultural immersion is fostered through language weeks dedicated to Samoan, Cook Island, Tongan, and Māori languages, while visits to local institutions like MOTAT, the Stardome, Auckland Museum, and the Maritime Museum ignite curiosity and inspire future learning.
EOTC is an integral part of our curriculum, providing students with hands-on experiences, fostering teamwork, and building a deeper appreciation for our community and the world around us.
EOTC
At Wymondley Road School, we value learning that extends beyond the classroom walls. EOTC experiences give students real-world opportunities to explore, discover, and connect with their environment and community. Whether it’s a local trip, outdoor activity, or cultural visit, EOTC helps bring learning to life in meaningful and memorable ways.
Language Weeks and Cultural Groups
At Wymondley Road School, we celebrate Language Weeks and support Cultural Groups to help students learn about different cultures and languages. These activities give students a chance to share who they are, try new things, and build respect for others.
