Kia ora. Kia orana. Fakalofa lahi atu. Bula vinaka. Talofa lava. Malo e lelei. Assālam ‘alaykum and Warm greetings to you all.

My name is Naketa Ikihele and I am the Mutukaroa Coordinator at Wymondley Road School.  Mutukaroa is a landmark home-school learning partnership for children in Year 0-3. I am very much looking forward to working with and alongside you in supporting your child’s learning.

What is Mutukaroa?

Mutukaroa is the name of a school and community learning partnership that aims to work collaboratively with parents and whānau from the very first week of school. It is designed to help parents understand how their child is progressing in their learning throughout the first three years at a school. This partnership supports parents to help their children with their learning at home with the overall goal being to raise achievement.

Making the most of this opportunity.

As a parent, you want to know how your child is doing in their learning. Mutukaroa offers opportunities to parents to actively stay involved in every stage of their child’s learning.
