Trena Quinlan

Kia Ora Whanau and Friends,

My name is Trena Quinlan and I am the Mutukaroa Coordinator at Wymondley Road School. Mutukaroa is a programme for Years 1-3 that focuses on whanau engagement and raising achievement for our tamariki.  Teachers, parents/guardians and their child/children work together to impact the learning and development that happens at school and connecting this to the learning at home to raise overall achievement levels in relation to the National Standards in the NZ Curriculum. We believe strong relationships with our tamariki and their whanau is significant and can positively influence our tamariki throughout their learning journey. The Mutukaroa programme offers the opportunity for myself to meet with you to discuss your child’s assessment results, their learning and next steps, guidance with what will help at home, and resource packs to match your child’s next steps.

Results have proved that this programme is beneficial and we welcome anyone who will commit to the programme with us.

Nga mihi.
