Daylight savings would signal, not only the start of summer, but also the start opening of the campgrounds on the front lawn of the Wills Household. Every summer, my sister and I would pull out our two person tent out, pitch it on our front lawn, drag out thick old blankets and lay them down on the floor of the tent, before traipsing back inside to gather up our pillows, a sleeping bag, our beloved soft toys and a stash of chicken chips, chocolate bars and cans of soft drink. Throughout the day, we would play in our tent, bringing in our lego, read books, and prepare ourselves for our evening adventure. Then as darkness slowly would fall across the blue tent, we would snuggle down, torches illuminating our safe little world, tucked under the cherry tree, on the front yard.
